Dua Lipa is an English singer-songwriter was born in London, on the 22nd of August 1995. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017, after she been signed by Warner Bros Records. This album reached number 3 on the U.K. Charts, and also released eight singles. This included Be the one I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. number one track New Rules as well as the U.K. Number. #1 single New Rules. Lipa was awarded the Brit Award in 2018 as a British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. Her album is certified platinum in many countries. Dua Lipa, born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London Born on 22 August 1995. Her maternal grandmother is Bosnian. Her ancestors also come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town of Peja. The Lipa's grandparents are historians. Gjin and Rina are her sisters. Lipa was taught to play guitar and sing from her father Oda. Oda is the lead singer/guitarist of Kosovan's rock group Oda. Her father played music in the family, which included songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead The Police Stereophonics. Lipa started singing at the age of five. When she was nine years old, Lipa started to sing at her school, the Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa performed Beautiful Christina Aguilera's Beautiful, and If Ain't Get You from Alicia Keys. Lipa signed her first record agreement in 2014 with Warner Bros. Records. Her debut single New Love was released in August, 2015.
